Grow Lewisham

Grow Lewisham is a community growing and environmental project based in Lewisham that supports residents to grow food, learn gardening skills and connect with nature. Through workshops, volunteering and community garden activities, the initiative promotes sustainable food growing, biodiversity and stronger local communities. It is part of the Right to Grow movement, which encourages communities to use unused urban land for local food production and community gardening.

Climate Action Lewisham

Climate Action Lewisham is a community group driving local climate action through advocacy, public outreach, and innovative ideas. Established in 2018, the group engages residents across Lewisham with events, public meetings, and resources while actively supporting the council’s Climate Emergency Action Plan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. With a focus on grassroots connections, they inspire sustainable change through dialogue, projects, and imaginative rethinking of how communities can thrive sustainably.
