Greener & Cleaner Hub

Climate change advice and encouragement, repair cafes, workshops, skills, and events. Bromley of Library Things is also hosted here. The Hub focuses on normalising greener living, inspiring you to find ways to live greener that work on a day-to-day basis for you, your household, your family and even your workplace. The Hub is a community-powered, no-judgement space in The Glades, Bromley, where you can learn how to make meaningful changes to fight climate change, to reduce your carbon footprint and above all, so you don’t feel alone doing so. We are here to help you.

Wildcat Wilderness

Wild Cat Wilderness is a community green space in Catford coordinated by the Lewisham Local, which is a local charity. It is a natural wilderness off Catford Hill, which you can help shape and get involved in by volunteering. It is your community space where you can explore nature and wildlife, play or relax in its peacefulness, learn new outdoor skills or crafts, share and enjoy the space with other local people of all ages, cultures, faiths and abilities. We are currently funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Lewisham Local

Lewisham Local is a community-focused organisation that supports the Lewisham Voluntary sector. They specialise in grant application support and a gateway to local funding, which it sometimes administrated by the organisation. Leweisham Local fosters collaboration among individuals, groups, businesses, and organisations to build healthier, happier communities. It promotes giving and sharing resources, skills, and expertise while raising awareness of community needs. They support voluntary groups through events, projects, and communications. It champions asset-based development and enhances the impact and sustainability of local initiatives, ensuring Lewisham thrives by maximizing its existing strengths and resources.

Good Food Lewisham

Good Food Lewisham is a borough-wide partnership that brings together residents, community organisations, businesses, and public services to support healthier, fairer, and more sustainable food systems in Lewisham. Established in 2016, the network works to address food inequality, improve public health, reduce food waste, and support local food initiatives. One of its key projects is the Lewisham Community Food Mapping initiative, which helps residents connect with local food support and growing networks. The map highlights food giving projects, community meals, food growing and Right to Grow spaces, community gardens, Good Food businesses, Healthy Start retailers, wholesale fruit and vegetable suppliers, and local markets.
